I have a very large family 2 adults and 7 kids and would love to go to Disney but we are on a budget what is the best place to stay that will accommodate a family my size that wont break the bank?

    Hi Donna,

The Walt Disney World Resort offers accommodations with sleeping arrangements for groups of 5 Guests or More. With 9 family members you also have some other budget friendly options to consider.

You don't happen to mention the ages of the 7 children. I bring up the topic for the following reason. The Standard Rooms at the Disney Value Resort hotels can accommodate up to four adults, plus one child 3 years of age or younger in a crib. So, if even one of your children is less than 3 years old, book 2 Standard Rooms at a Disney Value Resort hotel. This arrangement is typically a more affordable option than booking one of the Deluxe Villas.

The best way to request connecting rooms is to call (407) 939-1936 and have the Cast Member add your request to the reservation. Be sure to specify the two rooms must have a shared door in-between connecting them. However, keep in mind that room requests are never guaranteed and will be subject to availability.

All of the above being said, I also suggest doing a bit of price comparison. Do spend some time researching the Special Offers page. You just might find one package that proves to be "a perfect fit" for your family's vacation budget.

Finally look into other lodging options, such as the Walt Disney World Good Neighbor® Hotels and the Disney Springs™ Area Resort hotels. They are conveniently located near the Walt Disney World Resort providing standard rooms, suites and condo-style accommodations too.
