Hello and welcome to planDisney, Elizabeth. Oh boy, I imagine you're either already at the glorious rope drop or making your way to the parks right now. I'm sorry that, like the White Rabbit, we were a little late for your question, but let's hop to it right now.
You can absolutely take your laptop into the parks with you. I've done this a couple of times and so have a few of my pals. There are a few
things that are prohibited in the parks and I encourage you to take a peek at that list too. Keep in mind that all items are subject to search at security before entering the parks.
Since it sounds like you may be trying to get some work done before or in between the magic, I'd love to share some great spots around the parks to squeeze in some work. On a beautiful day, I recommend heading to Pirate's Lair on Tom Sawyer Island. There are lots of shaded areas on the island and I find that it's not often crowded. There's also a great spot hidden away behind Harbour Galley. Head down the pathway that goes off to the side and behind
Harbour Galley and you'll find a nice spot with tables in the shade. If you're looking for a climate-controlled spot, I recommend a quiet area in the lobby or surrounding areas of either the Disneyland Hotel or the Grand Californian. There's a great room with seating and tables in the
Discovery Tower of the Disneyland Hotel.
