Hello, Marilyn!
Welcome to planDisney. It looks like you are planning a fall cruise. I sailed on a
Halloween on the High Seas cruise last year, and it was so much fun! The Halloween decor made the cruise extra special, and my family enjoyed dressing up in themed costumes one night.
I connected my laptop to the internet while sailing with my fellow planDisney classmates on a Disney Cruise last year. First, download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app on your smartphone before your voyage. It has many
helpful planning features, and I especially love the Disney Cruise Countdown Calendar! I also use the app frequently during our family cruises to help plan our days (and meals!). We love the food on the Disney Cruise Line!
After boarding the ship, open the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app on your phone and select
"Connect to Internet". This will open a separate browser to view and purchase internet plans. Options usually include different lengths of time (such as 24 hours and full voyage plans), as well as different connectivity choices. After paying for your internet package, you can connect to the internet on your smartphone. A website address will also be provided at that time that can be used on your laptop to access the internet. During my last cruise, I could choose between using one or two devices at a time when connecting to the internet. Since I selected the "one device" option, I disconnected the internet from my phone when I wanted to use the internet on my laptop. If you experience any issues or have questions, I recommend visiting the
Guest Services Desk for assistance.
Marilyn, have a wonderful vacation! I hope you reach out to planDisney again if you have other questions!
Happy sailing!
Jen
