Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Dan!
I'm on a personal mission to try all of the different dining locations at Walt Disney World Resort, but there are a few I just can't stay away from and keep coming back to and
Landscape of Flavors, the Quick-Service restaurant at
Disney's Art of Animation Resort is one of those places. I love to eat anywhere where there's a lot of variety and a ton of different dishes to choose from, and the shops at Landscape of Flavors have a diverse selection to please even the pickiest "palette". I love the delicious varieties of French Toast at breakfast, but nothing beats the Tandoori Boneless Chicken Thighs at lunch and dinner. Extra naan bread for me, please!
If you find yourself in a bit of a time crunch on your first day and you want to grab your lunch and have it out by the pool, that's a great idea! Just let the Cast Member know when they're making your meal and they'll pack it up for you or cover it so you can take it to where you want to eat. There's indoor and outdoor seating at Landscape of Flavors, you can take it back to your room to eat, and you can also relax and enjoy your meal poolside!
Speaking of pools, Disney's Art of Animation Resort has some that you will not want to miss. The Big Blue Pool is the largest Resort pool at Walt Disney World Resort and it is legendary among guests. While you're there, you should put your head under the water - you never know what you might hear! I also love the Cozy Cone Pool, where you can relax in the shade inside your own cone cabana.
I hope this answers your question, Dave, and let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation.
