Hiya Brandon,
Welcome to planDisney! The holidays are truly at their most magical at the Most Magical Place on Earth, and I'm so excited that you are planning a trip during this most festive time of year.
Speaking of festive, there is nothing quite like the snow on Main Street, U.S.A! It makes you forget that you are in Orlando, Florida, and it fully draws you in to the holiday spirit. I reached out to a Cast Member, and unfortunately, "snow" only falls during
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom currently. But don't worry, there may still be a way to catch a little flurry of snow during your vacation! One of my favorite people,
Greg, mentioned that sometimes at the Town Center in Disney Springs, snow will fall near the main Christmas tree display. While it may not be Magic Kingdom, I'm sure it will still be magical (plus they also have DOLE Whip there and other yummy sweet treats such as
Gideon's Bakehouse cookies) because it's Walt Disney World and you are with your family!
I wish I had the answer you were hoping for, Brandon, but I do hope this answer was still helpful. Even though you won't be seeing snow in Magic Kingdom, you will still be able to see a lot of other festive offerings. In the past, they have shown Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade and Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks on the days leading up to and including Christmas. We are still a little off from knowing the specifics, but I'm confident that if I know Walt Disney World Resort, it is going to be special! Please come back and see us if you need anything else!
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
