Landing on 9/27 @ 2:15. Need to check in at Pop Century, but have ADR @ Wolfgang Puck @ 4;30. Can we make it or do I need to find something later? Traveling with 2 boys, 1 and 3, so can't eat too late.

    Hi Jennifer,

While I hate to be the bearer of bad news, I don't think you will make your dinner reservations.

Once you land you will need to walk down to the lower level of the airport to check in at the Magical Express. The shuttle ride itself from the airport to Disney World is just around thirty five minutes, but there is usually a wait of fifteen to thirty minutes to get checked in, on a shuttle and leave the actual airport. The Magical Express shuttles also stop at various Disney resorts along their route, so you may not be the first stop along the way, meaning you will need to allow for other guests to disembark, grab their bags and the shuttle to continue on its way. I like to allow sixty to ninety minutes from the time we land to get to my Disney resort.

Once at the resort, you will want to check in & possibly freshen up. Once your have checked in, you will need to grab a Disney bus from Pop Century to the Downtown Disney area. The buses run approximately every twenty minutes so depending on your timing you may have a wait for the next bus. Then allow about fifteen to twenty minutes travel time from the resort as well as the amount of time it will take you to walk from the bus stop  to the restaraunt. I always like to plan for sixty minutes of travel time to get a bus, travel to our stop, and walk to our final destination. Of course figuring in the fact that the unexpected always happens when traveling with small children, that could always take longer.

Given travel times and all the variables thrown in, I would say you need to plan on at least three hours from the time you land before making your reservation. Personally I hate to start my trip off being rushed to make our first meal or event. If you are concerned about the kids' hunger level, there is a great walk up option at Pop Century that you could enjoy. You could also try and move your reservation to later that eveing and have a snack to help pass the time until dinner.
