Hello Joanna,
Thank you for coming to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I am sure you are getting really excited for your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation. To answer your question, you absolutely can add another day to your park hopper. You can do so by calling (407) W-DISNEY (934-7639) or you can visit guest services at your resort or theme park entrances that Sunday.
While I love park time with the amazing attractions, parades and shows, I also wanted to offer an alternative to adding an extra park ticket for only half the day. The newly imagined
Disney Springs is full of amazing shopping, dining, and exploring without the cost of a theme park. I could personally spend multiple days there and not see everything. I recently dined at Morimoto Asia and loved the stunning atmosphere and amazing food. I also snacked on a Canadian favorite called poutine at one of the quick service kiosks, The Daily Poutine. Another fun place to try is Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar, with its Indiana Jones inspired backstory and theming. Among the new shops are ALEX AND ANI, Pandora Jewelry, Fit2Run, and Kate Spade New York. There are still some of the classic Disney favorite shops such as Once Upon a Toy, Marketplace Co-op and World of Disney. Take a stroll around the expansive lake over bridges and around corners and this could make a leisurely Sunday afternoon and evening so that you are rested to start the fun on Monday in the parks! Again, this is just a suggestion.
Whatever magic you decide upon, I hope your trip is full of wonderful memories to last a lifetime.
