We land at about 2 pm on a Friday and will be checking into the Dolphin. Is it reasonable to have dinner reserved at Space 220 for 5:15 or 5:50?

Welcome back, Richard! It's lovely to have you visit with us again!

Given your timeline, a 5:15 or 5:50 dinner reservation at Space 220 might be a bit tight, but it could work with some careful planning.

If your flight lands at 2:00pm, you’ll need time for deplaning, collecting luggage, and getting through airport transportation. That alone could easily take 45–60 minutes and don't forget that Orlando traffic can be unpredictable.

Once you arrive at the Dolphin, you’ll still need to check in, drop off luggage, and possibly freshen up before heading to EPCOT. Travel time from the Dolphin to EPCOT’s International Gateway is short, about 15-20 minutes by boat or a 25-30 minute walk.

For a 5:15 reservation, you’d basically need everything to go perfectly on time, which can be stressful after a flight. A 5:50 reservation gives a little more breathing room and is likely more realistic. Either way, I’d allow at least 3 hours from landing to dining to feel comfortable, especially for your first day in the parks.

The dining locations will give you a bit of a grace period, but if you can find a reservation time after 6:00pm, that would definitely give you enough time to travel from the airport safely to Disney property.

Have a wonderful time, Richard, and don't forget, we're always here to help!
