I want a land and cruise package,, 4 days land 3 days cruise. How do I go about it? Which one is best to do first land or cruise?

    Hi Cherry,

Welcome to the Moms Panel!  By combining a land and sea vacation, I think you really get the most bang for your buck and maximize your vacation.

I would have to say that the easiest way to book your vacation would be to visit www.disneycruise.com and start at the left hand side of the screen to price out your vacation.  This website has greatly improved, and you now have the ability to add on Walt Disney World Resort stays before and/or after your cruise.  Once you've selected your cruise, you are walked through the options to add resort nights.  Personally though, I prefer to talk to a person when making this big of an investment - so I call (800) 951-3532 .  I like having the ability to ask questions along the way by doing it over the phone.

Now, depending on the time of year you plan on cruising, it may be worthwhile to book these two segments of your vacation separately.  There are often discounts and specials at the resorts that you will not have access to when booking as a total package through the cruise line.  I would do this only if you feel comfortable watching the resort rates and keeping an eye out for deals (my favorite website for this is www.mousesavers.com).  Of course for simplicity sake, booking the package through the cruise line streamlines your vacation and gives you one go-to contact for all of your vacation needs.

As for which to do first - I recently gave my opinion on this one HERE

I hope this helps, have a wonderful vacation!
