Disney Newport Bay Club as our home away from home many times. We love the nautical Disney touches all over the hotel.
There are several different types of room to choose from when staying at Newport Bay, from the Superior Rooms to the Compass Club suites. Superior Rooms with a Lake View all come in a two-double bed configuration. These rooms are a good size and always offer my family of four plenty of space. You will also find plenty of outlets around the room. These include European sockets and one UK-style socket, so be sure to bring a converter for your US electricals.
I highly recommend taking time to relax in the
Captain's Quarters bar during your stay. I always make time to enjoy a coffee here, regardless of which Disney Hotel I am staying at. I love the relaxing atmosphere and beautiful views across Lake Disney, looking over Disney Sequoia Lodge and Disney Hotel New York. The coffees here come with a little extra magic too, with a Disney character printed on top. It definitely makes the coffee taste better, or that might just be me!
