Hello ladies! I'm curious to see what is available for first-time vistors? I'm bringing my 10 y/o daughter for the first time and I want it to be awesome for her. So if anyone has any tips please let me know!

    Hi Kayla,

How wonderful to be bringing your daughter to Walt Disney World for the first time!  Let me give you a few ideas for enhancing the magic on her first trip.

First, be sure to stop by Guest Relations at any of the Disney theme parks and ask for a first visit button.  This button is free of charge, and your daughter can wear it throughout your visit.  Although no special treatment is guaranteed, it is fun to hear cast members wish her a happy first visit, and you never know when a little extra magic might occur!  Also, when making resort or dining reservations at Walt Disney World, be sure to indicate that it is your daughter's first visit.  Again, no extra magic is guaranteed; however, there may be extra pixie dust sprinkled on your vacation if you let the cast members know of this special occasion.

For an additional cost, consider working with Disney Floral and Gifts to arrange for a special gift or in-room celebration for your daughter.  They can create a variety of gifts including plush animals, balloons, flowers, and so much more.  One you have perused the website, I suggest calling them at (407) WDW-GIFT (407-939-4438) to speak with a Dream Maker who can help you to customize a surprise for you daughter.

I hope that this gives you a couple of ideas for making your daughter's first visit to Walt Disney World extra-special, Kayla.  Have a great time planning your trip, and please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
