Hi Ladies and Gents, we have HDDR booked for 5pm and then thinking about heading over to Boardwalk for the remainder of the evening. What is the best way to get from HDDR to BW and then back to Poly where we are staying. Family of 5 with kids ages 4,7,9.

    Hi Lea!

My son and I love the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue at the Fort Wilderness Campground!  It sounds like you have an incredible evening planned for you and your family!  There are lots of ways to get from the Fort Wilderness Campground to the Boardwalk near Epcot and then back to the Polynesian Resort.  I am going to give you the best one that I have discovered, but keep in mind that any route will take you well over an hour or more because you have to use multiple forms of Disney transportation.  My best route is to take a boat from the Fort Wilderness Campground to the Magic Kingdom.  Then take a bus the is heading to the Boardwalk Resort and you will end up right where you need to be after you walk through the lobby of the Boardwalk Resort.  After you are done on the Boardwalk, you can get a bus heading to the Magic Kingdom from the Boardwalk Resort.  Once your are at the Magic Kingdom, you can take the Resort Monorail or a boat to the Polynesian Resort.  If you are pressed for time or the kids are getting tired at the end of the evening, it might be worth the money to get a taxi from the Boardwalk Resort directly to the Polynesian Resort (it typically costs under $20.00 including tip and it takes about 20 minutes).

I hope that your next Walt Disney World vacation is filled with magic and memories!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
