Hi ladies! Our first trip to Disney on 1/12/13. So excited, but overwhelmed, I have reservations at Cinderella's castle for dinner, but why did I have to prepay for our meal with a credit card, if we have a dining plan? Can I redeem my dining plan credit

    Hi there Colleen,

I can tell that you are excited! Please try to relax and do not get too overwhelmed! Planning these trips can get a little stressful but we are here to help you make it a little easier! Reservations at Cinderella's Royal Table are very hard to get so at least you have one of the best reservations for dining that there is! The reason that Disney decided to have certain restaurants have guests pre-pay is because at one time guests would book the restaurants and completely neglect to show up for their reservations. So while families were trying to make reservations, they couldn't because of prior reservations. When the date would come around, the family with the reservation would decide they didn't want to go and not show up which left empty tables. The process of adding the Disney Dining Plan to your bill is very easy and one of the cast members will be happy to do it for you. The amount will be credited back to your card at that time.

Thank you so much for your question and if you have more, we are always here for you!
