Hi, 6 ladies are celebrating one ladies' 80th birthday. We want to make it special with a meal in the park and teeshirts to celebrate her day. Maybe a meal with Mickey. Can you let me know if we can plan this?

    Well hello, Victoria!

I am SO excited that you stopped by planDisney! The Disneyland Resort is one of my absolute favorite places to celebrate an event, and your party sounds completely amazing! Special dining reservations, matching shirts, celebration buttons, and a little pixie dust will make your day magical from beginning to end. Let's get started!

Your first stop should be Guest Relations at City Hall on Main Street, U.S.A. to request a complimentary birthday button! We want everyone to be able to wish your friend a very "Happy Birthday" during your visit!

I love your idea of matching shirts, they always look so fun in photos! This charming pink Disneyland tee on shopDisney right now is particularly darling. You can't go wrong with a classic Mickey design! Matching Minnie Mouse Ear Headbands would also be super fun!

I definitely recommend making a dining reservation 60 days in advance for a special meal! I have a few different ideas that might be fun for your group:

    • Minnie & Friends – Breakfast in the Park at Plaza Inn is such a fun way to kick off a Disneyland day! With character visits and a delicious buffet, you'll definitely have a magical time. Don't forget to take lots of photos!
    • The Blue Bayou is the most beautiful and relaxing restaurant in the park. You'll enjoy soft lighting from the beautiful lanterns as you watch boats gently sail by on their way to find some pirate adventures! If you make a reservation here you may also have the option to add a special celebration cake!
    • If you're visiting Disney California Adventure Park then my favorite dining experience is the World of Color Dessert Party! This is the ULTIMATE celebration in my book, with fruit, cheese, desserts, 2 alcoholic beverages (for adults, age 21 and older), and a perfect view of the gorgeous World of Color spectacular.
The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique makeovers are exclusively for kids, but did you know that anyone (of any age!) can ask for some complimentary pixie dust? Your group should definitely stop by and ask for a sprinkle so you can shimmer all day!

Victoria, I love that you and your best pals are going to visit the parks together. I hope these ideas help you plan a perfectly enchanting day! I would be delighted to help if you have more questions for me!

    Keep moving forward!
