Hello ladies! As an avid WDW traveler and lover of all things Disney I have decided to visit DLR in April 2014 for the first time with my DH and 3 princesses. Do you know if my very small 6 year old could sit with me on Splash M. I have heard mixed answers

    Hi, Stephanie!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thanks so much for your question. I’m thrilled to hear that you’re planning a visit to “The Happiest Place on Earth” with your family. If you love Walt Disney World and all things Disney, I think you’re going to be smitten with the charm and history of Walt Disney’s very first theme park here on the West Coast!

Splash Mountain ride vehicles at the Disneyland Resort (which originally offered one single-file bench for all riders) now have individual seats for each row, with the exception of the back row seat, which is larger and can accommodate an adult and small child. If you’d like your daughter to sit in the back with you, alert a Cast Member at the front of the queue so you can be directed to the appropriate loading row.

I hope this helps, Stephanie, and that you and your princesses enjoy a perfectly pixie-dusted Disneyland Resort vacation! Please write back with any other questions you may have as your planning continues.

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
