Is La Nouba worth the extra $$ to take my 5yr old daughter? I have heard it is a spectacular show. Just wondering if it will hold her attention. Thanks again.

That's a tough question Amy.  I recently saw the show for the first time and I can attest that it is an amazing production.  That being said, it is a fairly lengthy show (approx. 90 minutes) with no intermission.  Admittedly even I got a bit antsy towards the end of the performance.  Your daughter's reaction will of course depend on her personality.  You might consider how well she does during a movie.  Does she sit through the whole thing or does she get distracted halfway through?  La Nouba features a lot of colorful costumes, great music, and lively performers but parts of the show are more subdued than others.  I can tell you that personally, I might wait a couple of years.  Erin, one of my friends from this panel, took her eight-year-old twins to the show recently and they loved it.  I really think it depends on your daughter's unique personality and her toleration of lengthy shows.  Good luck with your decision.
