    KUDOS to the Panel!! Is there a "Magic Kingdom Welcome" like at "Animal Kingdom AWAKENING"before the park officially opens? I read somewhere that 15 mins. before MK opens that the characters are there to greet guests.

    The Magic Kingdom's morning welcome ceremony is truly the best! I'll admit to still becoming teary-eyed when we count down to the park opening "10, 9, 8..."! The look on my son's face is always memorable!

    The Opening Ceremony takes place in front of the Mickey floral. You'll want to arrive the Magic Kingdom early, go through security and then position yourselves in front of the train station. On non-extra magic hour mornings, the show begins at 8:48 a.m. On Extra magic mornings, it is at 7:55 a.m. At least that is the current schedule.
