Welcome BACK, Christie!
It's so good to see you asking another great Disneyland Resort vacation planning question to us hEAR at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
This is an interesting question to answer right now given all that is going on in the world during this unprecedented time. Typically room rates and the price of theme park tickets for Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort vacations are released at max 18 months in advance. But more-so, currently all Disney theme park ticket sales have been paused through their traditional sources (online purchases, through travel agencies, third party vacation packages, etc), so the offers you're finding may simply be a reflection of this temporary measure. I sadly don't have the proper 'Magic Mirror' to confirm every promotion that each
Disneyland Good Neighbor Hotel has to offer, both right now as well as in the last few years (for comparison). But, I have a strong hunch that the prices you have been quoted in the last few weeks are without theme park tickets because of the ticket pause despite that your vacation date is so far away. The best way, I think, to confirm this is to go to the hotel's actual website vs. using the link on Disney's Good Neighbor Hotel page, and then to triple-check the room listing; "room only" deals are usually just that, a bed for your head and the use of any included amenities like the hair dryer and/or pool. Packages that include other perks like parking or theme park tickets are usually listed in a "promotions" or "packages" tab or section of that hotel's website.
Though we don't have a date of when this will happen, I'm very hopeful that "room + ticket" packages will indeed be available soon, both at Disneyland's Good Neighbor Hotels as well as at the three
Disneyland Resort Hotels. Disneyland Resort recently set up an
informational website page about the current state of the closures and the reopening. Definitely bookmark this page and check back often. But also 'like' and 'follow' the
Disney Parks Blog across all of your social media channels as this source of news comes directly from Mickey himself. When tickets are again being sold, start your sEARch over, including in the
Disneyland Resort Special Offers & Discounts section as you never know what kinds of deals will be up for grabs. And if anything, you do still have quite a bit of time before your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth. I would use the quotes you're finding now as a starting off point, and then start to recheck for prices you can count on around 18 months before your date of travel.
I hope this helped a bit, Christie, and if you have any more Disneyland Resort vacation planning questions, We're All Ears!
