Hello Kristen! We know that inline skates are not permitted in the parks, but can they be used on the resort jogging trails? My boys do not want to forego their early morning routine! :-)

Hello Tanya!  Thank you so much for your question!  Unfortunately, I don't have the news you are wanting to hear.  Walt Disney World has a pretty strict policy prohibiting the use of any wheeled items, with the exception of strollers and personal mobility devices like wheelchairs and ECV's.  This includes inline skates, skateboards, wagons and even those shoes that have the wheels built into the heels.  Along with a Florida state law prohibiting these same items on Government owned property, it looks like your boys won't be able to even find a quiet road nearby to skate.  I'm not sure if they like jogging, but hopefully they could utilize the jogging trails to at least stay active by doing some early morning running - I applaud them for wanting to continue with their fitness routine even while on vacation!

I'm sorry I didn't have an answer that would make your boys happy.  I know that Disney is always trying to make safety their first priority, so I guess that would by why this particular rule is in place.  Please don't hesitate to write me back if I can assist you with any other questions you may have - I would be happy to help!

Have a wonderful and magical Walt Disney World vacation Tanya!
