    Hi Kristen, thanks for the great ideas! Im staying at GF with a standard view. Are there any room requests you recommend for that resort? Whats the process for requests? I want to make this a great first trip for my son.

    You are going to just love Disney's Grand Floridian Resort. Talk about being in the perfect location in the very heart of all that is Magical at Walt Disney World!

    With a Standard View booked, a great building to request would be Boca Chica. This building is very centrally located to dining, pools and the main lobby. If you'd like to, consider also requesting a ground floor room if you'd rather do without stairs or elevators with little ones. If you prefer a balcony to a patio, consider requesting a top floor room for the most optimal view.

    In order to place a request on file for your resort reservation, simply call and speak to a Cast Member at (407) 939-7675. Have your reservation number handy at the time of your call and advise the Cast Member assisting you that you'd like to have a note placed on your reservation file.

    Keep in mind that requests cannot be guaranteed, but every attempt to grant your request will be made, if it's within your room reservation category and based on availability at the time of check in. Upon arrival at the resort for check in, ask the Cast Member assisting you if your request was by chance able to be accommodated and the they'll check your note on file and compare it to your room assignment and let you know! I hope you get just the perfect room to make your son's first visit extra magical!
