Hi Deborah!
Thanks for visiting me again! It's so nice to hear from you.
Dining at Magic Kingdom during the same evening as
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is certainly a lovely complement to the event itself. With a dining time of 7:30pm, you will likely miss Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade's
early showing, but it does usually run again later in the evening!
Although official parade and fireworks times for the 2012 parties have not yet been officially posted, historically the Parade has taken place at 8:15pm and 10:30pm with the Holiday Wishes fireworks at 9:30pm. These times are likely a good approximation of what you can expect this year, though certainly not
guaranteed to follow suit.
If you'd rather dine earlier and not miss out on
any of the party's festivities, consider calling Disney Dining Reservations at 407-WDW-DINE to check for earlier availability. Although the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party does not officially commence until 7:00pm, you will be admitted into the park earlier, with your Special Event tickets, to reach your dinner reservation if it is prior to 7:00pm, but no earlier than 4:00pm.
If you aren't able to change your reservation to an earlier time, consider arriving 15-30 minutes prior to your reserved time, to be checked in and placed into the queue to be seated. This may allow you that little bit of extra time on the other side of your dining time!
You're going to have a simply Magical evening!
Please write me again any time you wish. I'd love to assist you further with your plans Deborah!
