hi Kristen. we don't like waiting in line for bus or long travel time from one place to another. what would you suggest as the best hotels (or maybe need 2 hotels during the trip) to shorten the trans. to the 4 parks and minigolf / waterparks.

    Hi there Lisa!

Thanks for visiting me! I'm happy to provide recommendations and tips to help you plan the most magical Walt Disney World vacation ever! Staying at a resort that's conveniently located near your family's favourite attractions is a huge bonus. Since Walt Disney World is so large and spread out, it's really difficult to choose just one resort that's convenient to everything!

My top pick for being most convenient to most of the parks is Disney's Contemporary Resort. Here you have the luxury of a short walk to Magic Kingdom, a monorail ride to Epcot and a fairly easy bus ride to Disney's Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios and the Water Parks.

If you love the Water Parks, consider Disney's Yacht or Beach Club Resorts and you'll practically have a water park on site! My second pick in this area would be Disney's BoardWalk Resort. From these fabulous resorts, you have an enjoyable boat ride or a walk to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. The Disney Water Parks and Animal Kingdom are a bus ride away - and with the Park Hopper option added to your tickets, you can stroll through Epcot to the monorail to reach Magic Kingdom. Disney's Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf is also walkable from this resort area, located just across the street from the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel. Although the bus in this area is shared, consider boarding at the BoardWalk Resort in the mornings to shorten your bus rides, and disembarking at an earlier bus stop than where you're staying, simply walking the rest of the way.

As another option, consider a resort  close to the Disney Water Parks, Downtown Disney and Animal Kingdom as your second resort. Great picks in this area would include Disney's Coronado Springs, Pop Century or Art of Animation Resorts.

If you have more questions, please write me back Lisa! I'd love to assist you further.
    Have a Magical day!
