Hi All, I kown that I asked this question the other day but I'm having trouble retreaving the answer. Can anyone please give me some good insite on the ins and outs of the wildreness lodge. We are staying in the villas.

    Hi Adrienne,

Here is the response I posted to your previous question:

You're going to love the Villas at Wilderness Lodge (VWL)!  It's a serene, gorgeous five-story building adjoining Disney's Wilderness Lodge.  It is my favorite place to stay while at Walt Disney World.  Check out the stunning images of the Villas at Wilderness Lodge here.

Most of the rooms at VWL share a similar woodsy view, so you don't need to make a specific view request on your reservation.  However, I often request a pool-view because it will likely get you a room on the Bay Lake side of the resort.  That means at night you might have the chance to see the Electric Water Pageant through the trees from your balcony.  I think the views are often a bit better on higher floors, so you may want to make that request as well.

The rooms at VWL range in size from a deluxe studio that houses four guests to a two-bedroom villa that accommodates eight.  The rooms are wonderfully spacious and well-equipped.  One- and two-bedroom villas even offer a washer/dryer right in each room, which is so convenient when traveling with a family.

Transportation to the Magic Kingdom from VWL is extremely easy.  I've timed it, and it took four minutes to get to the Magic Kingdom by resort bus.  Wow!  If you have a little more time than that, it is incredible fun to ride the boat from the dock at the back of the Wilderness Lodge to the Magic Kingdom.  You can reach the three other theme parks, two water parks, and Downtown Disney via resort bus.

While staying at VWL, be sure to schedule time to enjoy the resort pools, the awe-inspiring lobby, and the three restaurants (Roaring Fork, Whispering Canyon Cafe, and Artist Point) on the grounds.   It's a truly magical resort!

    Have fun!
