Hola, Adela! I am so happy to see you again here at planDisney. As Mickey works hard to provide Kosher food at Walt Disney World Resort, he also makes sure that there are restaurants and Kosher meals available at Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, CA so Guests like us have something to eat.
Disneyland Resort does provide Kosher meals for Guests at select locations. The meals are provided at several restaurants at both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. In my experience, it is best to email Special.Diets@Disneyland.com two weeks in advance and then again 48 hours in advance to ensure meals will be available at the restaurants you plan to eat. You should include the restaurant name, the date, and the approximate time you want to dine even for Counter Service locations. Meals are subject to availability both in the number of meals and the specific Kosher dish; that is why making arrangements well in advance is best. We have had at least one experience where we did not get in touch with Special Diets and we showed up at a Counter Service restaurant that we thought had Kosher meals only to be told they had no meals.
My advice: make a table service dining reservation no more than 60 days in advance and then contact Special Diets to make sure there are meals at that restaurant for you. Please be aware that Kosher meals can take longer to prepare (anywhere between 20 and 60 minutes) and may be more limited during certain times of the year like Sukkot and Yeshiva Week in the United States.
Subject to meal availability you can make arrangements for Kosher dining at:
Disneyland Park
- Blue Bayou Restaurant (Table)
- Café Orleans (Table)
- Red Rose Taverne (Counter)
Disney California Adventure Park
- Smokejumpers Grill (Counter)
- Wine Country Trattoria (Table)
Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa
- Napa Rose (Table)
- Storytellers Café (Table)
Disneyland Hotel
About the caterer and hechsher: Currently, the Kosher food supplier (subject to change) at Disneyland Resort is the same as Walt Disney World Resort and is Borenstein Caterer, Inc. out of Jamaica, NY. They are under the supervision of the Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of America (OU). All dairy products are Cholov Yisroel and all breads are Pas Yisroel. Kosher meals are double-wrapped airplane-style, steamed, and usually include a protein, a starch, and a vegetable usually accompanied by wrapped dining utensils.
Adela, I am here to help you with any further Kosher dining questions. Please feel free to write me back directly with any follow-up questions or for other Disney vacation planning tips.
Enjoy making many delicious and Magical Memories.
