Do we know yet if Disney will be offering any extra extra magic hours the week of thanksgiving

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Barbara! The week of Thanksgiving is such an exciting time to visit Walt Disney World Resort. The theme parks and resort hotels are beautifully decorated, which is a great way to kick off the beginning of the holiday season.

Speaking of Resort Hotels, one of the benefits I love the most about staying at one is Extra Magic Hours, extra time in a select theme park every day of the week exclusively for Resort Hotel guests. It's a great opportunity to enjoy your favorite theme park with fewer guests there, which is always pretty magical. This fall, guests are going to get a little bit more of that time with the debut of "Extra" Extra Magic Hours at Magic Kingdom Park, Disney's Animal Kingdom, and Disney's Hollywood Studios. Some of the most popular lands at these theme parks, including the brand new and highly-anticipated Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, will be open up to three hours earlier for Resort Hotel guests than they are for guests who are staying off-site.

At the moment, "Extra" Extra Magic Hours are being offered from September 1 through November 2, 2019, so they'll be ending a few weeks before you arrive around Thanksgiving. We haven't heard anything about them happening past the beginning of November, but there have been some special events recently that have been extended due to extreme popularity, like Early Morning Magic and Disney After Hours, so you never know what might happen in the future. My best advice is to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog, because that will be the first place you'll be able to read about any exciting news, including any potential extension of those "Extra" Extra Magic Hours.

I hope this answers your question, Barbara, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation!
