Hi Jennifer!
Welcome back to planDisney! It’s so nice to see another question from you as you keep putting together your family’s magical Disney adventure. And first, how sweet is it that your daughter’s cousin wants to dress up with her for her big
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique day? I absolutely love that!
Jennifer, you’ve got the costume guideline right for Guests ages 14 and older, but there’s still plenty of room for her cousin to get fancy and join in on the fun! I’d look for a dress she loves that gives her all the royal vibes without actually being a Disney Princess costume. Think more “ready for the ball” and less exact Cinderella replica. Just make sure the dress doesn’t reach or drag on the ground, which is also part of
Disney’s attire guidelines.
A cute dress, sparkly shoes, and maybe a tiara or fun hair accessories could still make her feel completely part of the moment!
And Jennifer, since you’ll have these two all dressed up and looking fabulous, take a peek at
Capture Your Moment at Magic Kingdom. You can book a private Disney PhotoPass photo session with locations including Fantasyland, Main Street, U.S.A. and Liberty Square. I did this for my baby girl for her 10th birthday and her own Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique makeover, and we fell in love with every single memory captured. The photographers made her feel like actual royalty! Talk about the
best day ever! I can only imagine how precious those photos would be after your daughter’s Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique transformation, especially with her cousin dressed up beside her!
I hope they have the most magical day together. These are exactly the kinds of Disney memories that I think become even sweeter as the kids get older!
Have the BEST royal day!
Emille
