Do you know if the Yacht Club has hand held showers? If so, what rooms are they in? Thank you

    Hi Lisa,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question!

Lots of Walt Disney World Resort hotel rooms are being refurbished lately, and the rooms at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort are no exception. From what I understand, most of the bathrooms have now been equipped with showers that have a sliding glass door and two rainfall shower heads (one bigger one and a smaller one). The Cast Member that I spoke to says, however that these “rainfall” heads don’t convert into hand held shower heads. Special adaptations may be possible in an “accessible” room, but I couldn’t get any additional information about what those now look like following refurbishment.

If having a handheld shower head is important to you, my advice to you would be to contact Disney’s Yacht Club Resort at (407) 934-7000. They’ll be happy to give you more information about the types of hotel rooms that would best suit your needs. You can also contact Walt Disney World Resort in order to speak to a Cast Member about whether another Walt Disney World Resort hotel might be better for you and your family.

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
