I know that World of Color and the Electrical Light Parade are scheduled to return 4/22/22. So excited for those! I am wondering if the dining/viewing options are returning as well.

    Welcome BACK, Michelle!

It's so good to see you asking another wonderful Disneyland Resort vacation planning question to us hEAR at planDisney! I'm happy to be your planEAR today!

Just like you, I am so, So, SO excited that Nighttime Spectaculars are returning to Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park! Right now there isn't any information as to when or if dessert parties or special event dining will be returning for the return of World of Color or, my favorite, The Main Street Electrical Parade. In fact, there aren't even listings available for these offerings like how Fantasmic! (returning May 28) still has its package options listed but noted as unavailable. Your best bet for the day-of will be to grab a sitting spot early. (People started claiming their chunk of curb for the 2019 return of The Main Street Electrical Parade three hours beforehand; bring a few buddies, and a blanket to sit on, and plan to swap out.) And also be sure to keep up with the Disney Parks Blog as they're the official source of the newest news straight from Mickey himself. I like to follow their official Facebook and Instagram accounts so I never miss an update.

Pro Tip: When The Main Street Electrical Parade made its last summertime reprise, there were all kinds of themed offerings, from merch to special snacks that looked like everyone's favorite electro-syntho-magnetic snail and top hat-wearing turtle. I haven't hEARd anything similar yet for this yEAR, but I'd expect nothing less. It's not the same as a 'dessert party with VIP viewing spot', but it's just as swell.

Thank you again so much for stopping back by, Michelle! Did you know that planDisney now has an official Instagram account as well as a brand new podcast? You can even catch the episodes in video on the Disney Parks youtube channel! We can't wait to see you real soon and if you have any more Disneyland Resort vacation planning questions, We're All Ears!
