Hello Lori –
Thanks for visiting with us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am pleased to assist you with your questions regarding breastfeeding at the
Walt Disney World Resort. You are correct that the
Baby Care Centers can be wonderful oasis of calm in the middle of all the fun and excitement in the Parks.
When I was nursing my son, I enjoyed this opportunity relax in a quiet and air-conditioned building with comfortable seating so that my baby could unwind and feed. The cast members are kind and nurturing to all who come by for a visit. This is a great place for diaper changes and for older babies who feed on solids.
Though I loved using the Baby Care Centers, sometimes I just could not get there fast enough for my hungry baby to feed. In that case, I would find a cozy seat in the shade or at a
Quick Service Restaurant to nurse him. I did not have any issues at the time, and every now and then I see another mom doing the same thing.
Breastfeeding at the Walt Disney World Resort is just like feeding your baby anywhere else – so please do what you need to do to keep your little mouseketeer happy and healthy.
Lori, it has been a joy to help you with this topic which is dear to my heart. Please come back to see us if you have more questions.
