hi do you know why MK is closing at 4:30 on November 30th i looked to see if it was a MVMCP day and it was not we will be there during that time thanks

    Hi Heather,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. On rare occasions, one of the Walt Disney World theme parks will close early for a private event. I've seen this most often at Hollywood Studios. However, Walt Disney World usually hosts an annual event at Magic Kingdom for its cast members celebrating service anniversaries, and I believe that is what is happening on November 30.

The park will be open for all guests as usual until 4:30 p.m. I suspect that crowds will be somewhat light because guests without parkhoppers may want to come on a day when they can stay later. So, if you have parkhoppers, it may be a good time to visit Magic Kingdom, then move to another park in late afternoon. Or stay until 4:30 and then move to a dinner at one of the nearby hotels. Maybe a character dinner at Chef Mickey's or Cinderella's Happily Ever After Dinner at 1900 Park Fare?

I hope that helps you make your itinerary, Heather. Please continue to check back with us if you have more questions about planning your vacation. Enjoy!
