Hi Heather,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. On rare occasions, one of the Walt Disney World theme parks will close early for a private event. I've seen this most often at Hollywood Studios. However, Walt Disney World usually hosts an annual event at
Magic Kingdom for its cast members celebrating service anniversaries, and I believe that is what is happening on November 30.
The park will be open for all guests as usual until 4:30 p.m. I suspect that crowds will be somewhat light because guests without parkhoppers may want to come on a day when they can stay later. So, if you have parkhoppers, it may be a good time to visit Magic Kingdom, then move to another park in late afternoon. Or stay until 4:30 and then move to a dinner at one of the nearby hotels. Maybe a character dinner at
Chef Mickey's or Cinderella's Happily Ever After Dinner at
1900 Park Fare?
I hope that helps you make your itinerary, Heather. Please continue to check back with us if you have more questions about planning your vacation. Enjoy!
Wilma
