Boo to you, Janet!
Thank you for making planDisney a part of your Disney vacation planning team. Whether you're planning your first or your fifty-first Walt Disney World Resort vacation, there's always something there that wasn't there before.
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is the new family-thrill attraction that opened in EPCOT this past weekend. Experiencing this reverse-launch coaster is at the top of my must-do list for my September trip.
When I first heard the news that Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party was returning to Magic Kingdom this year, I had an impromptu Sanderston sister-inspired dance party. My kids are dying to see the Headless Horseman in action and I'm looking forward to picking up some new dance moves at the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular. My husband is most looking forward to shorter wait times at our favorite Magic Kingdom attractions.
In the
Disney Parks Blog's announcement about the return of Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, Guests were told to look forward to the return of themed overlays at Space Mountain, Mad Tea Party, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor. In the past, changes to these attractions ranged from additional lighting effects to the presence of live characters throughout the attraction. I expect these changes to be limited to the party hours of 7:00 p.m. to midnight, which is another great reason to experience this specially ticketed event.
Apart from Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, the Haunted Mansion at Magic Kingdom and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror at Disney's Hollywood Studios are my favorite theme park attractions to experience during the spooky season. I'll also be keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for news about seasonal eats and treats. Last year, the frozen apple cider found at various quick-service restaurants at Disney's Hollywood Studios was a family favorite.
Have a spooktacular day,
Jennifer
