Welcome back to planDisney, Samantha!
Halloween is one of the best times to visit Disney World—the pumpkin-adorned streets, the specialty food and drinks, and of course,
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Even if the party may not be on your to-do list for 2026, I am more than happy to give you the scoop on how to gain access to
Magic Kingdom as an Annual Passholder.
A few years ago, the party was on hiatus; however, when our
Annual Passholder reservation window opened for Halloween, I easily grabbed reservations for it online. I can imagine that, with Halloween (October 31) usually being a party date, many daytime-only Guests tend to stay away because the park closes earlier. They want to visit Magic Kingdom on a day that they can play for longer. But overall, my advice to you is to still make a park reservation as soon as it is available for you to book in order to be on the “safe side.”
Keep in mind that you may get lucky and be able to make a park reservation for another theme park and then park hop to Magic Kingdom if it’s not at capacity. So, worst-case scenario, you should be good to go with enjoying your Halloween day.
AN EXTRA GEM: Magic Kingdom isn’t the only place on property that puts on a celebration during Spooky Season. Check out
Hollywood Studios for Minnie’s Halloween Dine, a fun, buffet-style lunch or dinner with Minnie and her friends at Hollywood & Vine. There are usually some trick-or-treating opportunities for Resort hotel Guests as well.
Samantha, thanks again for stopping by with your question. I hope that you have a boo-tiful time this upcoming Halloween season! If you need any Disney vacation tips and tricks, just

Magic always,
