    Hi.. I know it's only been about a week but has anyone tried out the Pirate League yet? Coming in Aug and have it booked for both my son (9) and daughter (5). Wondering if they will like it.

    Hi Natacha,

    Welcome to the Moms Panel!  My children recently got to experience The Pirates League so I can tell you first hand that it was a very unique and fun experience for them!  My girls 7, 6 participated and although I was skeptical, It is much more than simply getting your face painted.

    I don't want to spoil all of the surprises, but the experience really left an impression on them.  They are a bit girly, girl...so they both chose to be Empress Pirates (there are other options).  They had their makeup and nails done, and were outfitted with a pirate bandana and face gems.  The theming was incredible, the cast was wonderfully interactive.  They had their photos taken, and participated in uncovering their pirate names.

    The entire experience took about 30-45 minutes, and I think any pirate loving child would love it!  My very shy six year old even came out of her shell and had a lot of fun!
