Hello Mallory!
Welcome back to planDisney. I am so excited to hear that you are in the early planning stages of your return to the Walt Disney World Resort. If you are like me, a lot of thought goes into choosing the perfect time of year to visit the Most Magical Place on Earth.
Every guest that visits the Walt Disney World Resort will need valid
Theme Park admission for each date you plan to visit a park and a
Theme Park Pass Reservation. The price of your tickets will vary depending on the number of days you plan to visit, and if you plan to add on the ParkHopper or Water Park options. The average price of your tickets will also vary depending on the time of year you plan to visit as well.
Since every guest needs a Theme Park Pass reservation to be admitted to a park, it will not be full and you will not be turned away as long as you have a reservation for that park. Although I do like having a non-park day in the middle of my vacation. I recommend checking the
Theme Park Availability Calendar before purchasing your tickets. There is availability for guests who have accommodations booked at select
Disney Resorts Collection hotels and guests who are just purchasing theme park tickets. Each theme park has limited availability, so it is highly recommended to purchase your tickets, link them to your
My Disney Experience account and then make your Theme Park Pass reservations. If your plans change, you can always modify your reservations as long as there is availability in another park.
I hope this helps with your planning. If you have any more questions, please come back and visit us here at planDisney.
See ya real soon,
Andrea
