Do you know what the Weather is like in January. I have been to Florida and Disney a bunch of times but never in January. Suggestions on Clothing etc....

    Hi Amy,

The weather in Orlando for January is typically very comfortable, with a lower chance of rain and comfortably warm temperatures. Water parks and swimming pools in Walt Disney World are open year round, but it's a good idea to have a plan B just in case you get unlucky. This is a very nice time of year to vacation here. I would strongly recommend that you bring some warmer clothes though just in case of some colder spells that you could experience and I think you will need to have some sweaters and light jackets with you especially for the evenings which tend to cool down quite a bit in general.  Hopefully you will be able to wear shorts and t-shirts during the day when the sun is out.  Longer pants and as I mentioned some warmer shirts for when the sun goes away and chillier temperatures set in for the evenings are recommended.  The temperature trends for January are as follows:  Record High 87F, Normal High 71F, Normal Low 49F and Record Low of 19F.  I Hope you enjoy your January vacation at WDW and I wish you some nice warm weather!

    Have a magical day!
