I know I should wear something on my feet at the water parks, because that pavement gets hot! But I hate flip flops & water shoes....I want something more flexible. Is it possible (and allowed) to just wear socks? Or do you know of something better?

    Hi Heather,

I share your dislike for flip flops and water shoes.  This past summer I found a pair of waterproof sandals that work really nicely at the water parks.  I have a pair of Teva sandals and a pair of Keene's.  These don't slip off your feet.  They fit my foot nicely and are very flexible.  Either of these options would be a much better solution than just wearing socks.  Socks don't provide adequate protection for your feet in this environment. Definitely look into a good pair of waterproof sandals.
