Do you know if WDW offers any types of discounts (i.e. free meal plan) in the month of March. Looking to book for March 2014 - Thanks

    Hi Margaret,

I'm a huge fan of booking my Disney vacations as far in advance as possible. (It gives me something to look forward to when I'm having a stressful day!) So, I'm glad to see that you like to be an advance planner as well.

Great question about the special offers. Unfortunately, I don't think they're very easy to predict from year-to-year. Instead, my advice would be to book your reservation now (so you have something to look forward to!) and then keep your eyes and ears open for any deals that get rolled out between now and then. If a new deal pops up, you can always call Disney and ask them to apply it to your existing reservation. I've done that before and it's worked.

Here's a quick disclaimer: I always book my vacations directly through Disney, so I don't know if my idea will work if you book through a travel agent or other third-party vendor. (I wanted to throw that out there just in case!)

Here's a little tip from your buddy Derek:

When you book your reservation, make sure you take advantage of the My Disney Experience web-portal on DisneyWorld.com (or the free app for your smartphone). It's a great way to manage your dining experiences and other plans you've made for your vacation. I absolutely love it!

I hope that helps! Feel free to write back if you should have any additional questions as you work on your plans for your next vacation.

    Best regards,
    Derek
