I would like to know if WDW will be having Night of Joy this year? The Facebook page has been removed and there is no information on the website. It is usually listed under special events. And by this time of the year some information has been released.

    Hey Debra!

A warm welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Thank you for sending us your excellent question about Disney Night of Joy at Walt Disney World Resort.

Debra, I regret to inform you that after a very successful 35 year-run, Disney Night of Joy will not be returning to Walt Disney World Resort in 2018.

If you are a fan of contemporary Christian music, the amazing MercyMe will be performing as part of the Eat to the Beat Concert Series at the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. As you may already know, MercyMe was a part of Disney Night of Joy 2017 and performed at Disney Night of Joy every year except one since 2005!

Debra, I am so sorry if this has disappointed you as it has me. While I love all of the special events at Walt Disney World Resort, Disney Night of Joy is one I will truly miss. For the most current Disney Parks news, I suggest you subscribe to the Disney Parks Blog.

If you have any additional questions, please visit the Disney Parks Moms Panel again. We are all EARS!
