    Hi, I would like to know if vegan kids have to order food in the kid's menu only if we have the dining plan. Can the chef prepare a kid version of the adult vegan meal without paying extra fees? Thanks

    Hi Melanie!

    Typically, there are kids menu items that are vegetarian, and can be made vegan with a couple of omissions or substitutions.  When dining at a Counter Service location, just let the Cast Member know that you've got a special diet request, and they'll send the Chef out to speak with you about options that will be available for your child(ren).  

    For Table Service and Signature Dining locations, I always suggest you email specialdiets@disneyworld.com, to let them know you'll be dining with a special diet.  If you provide the date of your reservation, as well as the time, they can be prepared for you in every way possible.  I'd also make sure to include that you're dining with vegan child(ren) as well.
