I know you can usually get into the Halloween party at 4 pm, but I was told that this year they are letting you in as early as 2 pm. Is this true?

    Hi Robin!

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is one of my favorite special events at Walt Disney World.  There are so many new experiences for 2019 like new sound tracks and lighting on some of the attractions and a brand new fireworks show called Disney's Not So Spooky Spectacular!

Last year was the first year that Walt Disney World introduced an entry at 2:00PM for Disney Vacation Club members only and it appears the same Disney Vacation Club perk is being extended for 2019.  If you are not a Disney Vacation Club member, you will not be able to enter at 2:00PM.

The Boo-to-You Halloween Parade is my favorite Walt Disney World parade.  I just love when the ghosts from the Haunted Mansion ballroom dance down the street.  My son's favorite part are the Gravediggers with their shovels that make sparks on the street.

We always bring our own trick-or-treat candy bags because we end up with more candy than the complimentary bags they give you will hold, plus a Halloween themed canvas tote bag you can get from the store is a lot more comfortable to carry.  You can also purchase an adorable Mickey pumpkin light up candy bucket in the Emporium on Main Street U.S.A.

I hope you have a spooktacular time!
