Hiya Joel - welcome to
planDisney!
Thanks so much for stopping by with a question for our team of panelists today. We love to help Guests just like you plan your very own, very magical, Walt Disney World Resort vacations!
As a fellow planner myself, I love that you're already trying to put all the pieces together for your upcoming trip! Joel, the Park Hopper Plus and Water Park and Sports Options are great choices. Each will include visits to various recreational activities, including the Walt Disney World Resort Water Parks, Miniature Golf, and more! The number of visits will match the number of days on your Multi-Day Theme Park Ticket. So, if you purchase a 2-day Theme Park Ticket with either add-on, you'll have two of these add-on visits to use during your ticket's valid use window.
These visits are
not counted by days like your Theme Park admissions are. Instead, they are counted as visits. So, if you wanted to enjoy a round at
Disney's Winter Summerland Miniature Golf Course earlier in the day, and then head to
Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park for the rest of day, that would count as your two visits, even though you used them in only one day.
If
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon and Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Parks are
both open during your vacation, you could visit both on the same day. That would use both of your two visits, or you could visit one for a full day and then spend another full day at the other Water Park - that would also use two visits. Keep in mind that while Disney aims to always have at least one Water Park available every day of the year (weather permitting), there are parts of the year when
only Blizzard Beach
or Typhoon Lagoon will be open.
Joel, I also want to point out that using your add-on visits for the Water Parks is the best way to maximize the value of your ticket add-ons, so you've got the right mindset about things! If both are open during your trip, and you have the time, the best option would be to spend a full day, or most of a day, at each. I know that many Guests love to extend their vacation this way without breaking the bank - a day at Water Park using one of your extra visits, plus an evening of
shopping and dining at Disney Springs is a great way to take a day off from the Theme Parks!
Joel, I hope this information is helpful -
please stop by any time with more questions for us!
