Hi. I know tours can’t be booked until 60 days out but I was wondering if tours typically occur on race weekends? We were planning a trip during April races and wanted to book Keys to the Kingdom and or some of the Animal Kingdom tours. Will that work?

    Hi Beth!

runDisney weekends are a fantastic time to be at Disney! The atmosphere is electric with excitement as runners gear up for their races, and there's a unique sense of camaraderie in the air. Whether you’re a runner or just there to cheer them on, it's truly uplifting to see all the dedication and determination as they cross the finish line. The energy from the crowd is contagious, and you can't help but feel a sense of joy and inspiration watching everyone achieve their goals.

As for your question about tours, while there might be some slight adjustments to accommodate the early morning races, the parks generally operate as usual throughout the day. You can still expect the Enchanting Extras Collection offerings like the Keys to the Kingdom and various Animal Kingdom tours to be available. These experiences are designed to provide guests with unforgettable memories, and I'm sure you'll have an amazing time.

While Disney's Keys to the Kingdom Tour is still on my to-do list, I highly recommend the Wild Africa Trek, which I had the pleasure of experiencing. It was one of the best experiences I've ever had at Disney! The opportunity to get up close to the wildlife and learn about the ecosystems was simply incredible.

So get ready for an amazing trip! Book those tours and soak in all the fun and magic that Disney has to offer. You’ll definitely be left wanting to come back for more!
