    I would like to know about Tom Sawyer Island in Magic Kingdom. We have 2 children (ages 6 and 4) who are very adventurous. Is it a long walk on the island and how long is the walk? Thank you

    This is a great place to let the kids loose and run off some of their energy.  It is a hidden secret for many guests who enjoy taking the break from the normal lines of the attractions on the "mainland"!

    There are several paths that wind around the island and you can basically walk as much or as little as you wish.  There are maps displayed around so you won't get lost and can find your way back to the rafts that will take you back when you are ready.  Be sure and hunt down the two bridges..one a barrel bridge that moves when someone jumps and the other a suspension bridge.  There is a fun fort to explore and a cave to hide in and some water side tables where you can sit and relax and re-energize.  I think your adventurous children would love this Disney treat in the Magic Kingdom!
