Greetings, Delores, and welcome to planDisney. I love that you're looking to add a little extra creativity to your Disneyland Resort visit!
Making your very own Mickey Tie-Dye shirt seems like such a fun activity. To my knowledge, it's commonly offered at Walt Disney World Resort hotels. However, I don't believe it's typically offered at the Disneyland Resort, although that can always change! There are
a few different activities that Guests of Disneyland Resort hotels can enjoy.
Washcloth Creations is a unique opportunity to learn how Housekeeping Cast Members make special shapes with towels. I always enjoy the drawing sessions, too. Most of all, I recommend the
complimentary guided walking tours of the Disneyland Hotel and Grand Californian Hotel. As long as you're a Guest at any of the three Resort hotels, you can sign up to join. Ask the Front Desk if you're interested in participating.
You can view the
Hours & Events Calendar to see the most up-to-date schedule information for activities. Just select the date of your visit (in this case, February 25) and make sure the "Hotels of the Disneyland Resort" button is highlighted in dark blue (click it if it isn't). Scroll down to see scheduled entertainment and activity start times.
Here are some other ideas, if you're looking to add more fun to your trip:
- Visit Animation Academy inside California Adventure. There, you can learn how to illustrate popular Disney Characters with step-by-step guidance from talented animators!
- Stop by Crystal Arts in Disneyland and choose glassware to personalize. You can also do this at Cristal d'Orleans. During my last visit, I noticed that this location offered the opportunity to build your own tiara.
- At The LEGO Store in the Downtown Disney District, you can design and create your very own Minifigure.
- Browse World of Disney and other shops for apparel that catches your eye. There are so many cute t-shirts. And, you can never go wrong with a pair of Mickey ears!
Delores, I hope you have a magical time visiting the Disneyland Resort. It's the Happiest Place on Earth after all! If you think of any other questions, or if you meant to ask about activities at
Walt Disney World, please reach out – we're always happy to help here at planDisney!
Your pal,
Kriss
