Hey there, Hi there, Kimberly!
Thanks for bringing this question to us! The
theme park reservation system can take some time to get used to navigating, but you’ve got friends on the other side here at planDisney to guide you through it!
Kimberly, have you downloaded the
Disneyland Mobile app yet? You’ll need it when you arrive, since it is what you’ll use to scan your tickets. It also is where you can view and modify your theme park reservations. In the app, you would first need to click on the icon of three horizontal lines in the lower right corner. Then, choose “Future Plans” on the left side. From there, you should see all of your theme park and dining reservations.
If you don’t see any future plans, then that means that you will need to secure a reservation for the day that you wish to visit one of the
Disneyland Resort parks. You can make reservations 120 days in advance
online, and if your plans change after you’ve made a reservation, you have until the clock strikes midnight the evening before your visit to cancel it. If you cancel your reservation on the day you were scheduled to visit, or if you never scan your ticket the day that you were scheduled to visit, you will not be able to make a new reservation until the following day.
However, If you
do see a reservation in the app under “Future Plans”, then you’re all set to visit on the day that is marked on your reservation!
Personally, I love how helpful the app is to me when I'm planning my next experience at the resort when I’m at home. Plus, it saves me valuable hours by showing me the wait time for most rides and allowing me to place
mobile orders for meals, snacks, and beverages while I’m enjoying attractions all over the parks!
I hope this is the information you need to help make sure you’re ready for adventure at The Happiest Place On Earth, Kimberly. If you need any further detail, you are welcome to
write back to me directly now that you’ve got a friend in me!
Hakuna Matata,
Danielle
