How do you know if the ticket you have requires the guest to match the name on the ticket?

A warm welcome to planDisney, Carolina. Thank you for stopping by to share your question with us. It sounds like a magical adventure is in your future and I'm delighted to help.

For the most part, the name on your theme park ticket does not have to match that of the Guest using the ticket. When your ticket is scanned for entrance, the Cast Member will take your picture which will then be used as the ticket holder's identification for the remainder of its use. There may be certain tickets (like the Anaheim Resident Ticket Offer) where the name of the person who will be using the ticket should match the name on the ticket. In any of these cases, you can reach out to a friendly Cast Member at the phone line for tickets for assistance in making this update.

It's a great time to visit the Disneyland Resort. Pixar Fest is still in full swing until August 4th and shortly thereafter, Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort will arrive. If you haven't already, I recommend downloading the Disneyland app and checking out the digital guide for both of these events. The app is also super handy for all of your visits with a map of the resort, attraction wait times and the feature to mobile order food and beverage.

Carolina, I hope the information I've provided has been helpful. Please come back to visit us with any other questions you may have before your visit. Here's wishing you a magical time at the Happiest Place on Earth!
