Welcome to planDisney, Valerie! We're always happy to help Guests make magic on their next Disney vacation.
As of writing this answer, December 12th, 13th, 15th, 17th, and 19th, 2024 are still available for
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. If you'll be at the resort when at least one of those parties is taking place, you can try to reach out to an authorized Disney Vacation Planner located in the United States or Canada as currently, Guests residing in international locations cannot purchase tickets to these special events ahead of their arrival in the U.S. You can, of course, wait until you arrive, but there's a solid chance these tickets will be sold out by then. There
are very rare occurrences where extra tickets are available on the day of the event that you can purchase at the ticket windows outside of Magic Kingdom Park, but I wouldn't count on this as when this
does happen, there are very limited amounts of tickets released. But don't worry,
there is plenty of holiday magic across the resort to get you in that holiday spirit.
So, let's go through some of them:
- "Think of Christmas, think of snow, think of sleigh bells—off you go!" Look into Disney Jollywood Nights. I just attended this specially-ticketed event on opening night and it was fabulous. Plus, at the current time, December 7th, 2024 still has tickets available!
- "There's magic in the air!" Enjoy the Gingerbread Displays at some of the Disney Resorts Collection Hotels and some of the seasonal treats there as well!
- "Wherever you find love, it feels like Christmas." Magic Kingdom Park is still decorated for the holidays even when the party isn't taking place. Plus, there are specialty treats still available during regular park hours as well as the Jingle Cruise overlay of Jungle Cruise! Furthermore, all of the parks have decorations and treats to enjoy. And the Merry Menagerie at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park is a treat in and of itself!
- "As long as there’s Christmas, I truly believe that hope is the greatest of the gifts we’ll receive." You can experience the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays with a standard theme park ticket. This whimsical event has Holiday Kitchens, festive entertainment, and the truly iconic Candlelight Processional.
- "It’s not about what’s under the Christmas tree; it’s about who’s around it." So why not be with those you love while exploring the beautifully-themed trees throughout the Disney Springs Christmas Tree Stroll? In the past, I've fallen in love with these trees themed to Disney movies and attractions!
Valery, so much of the resort is immersed in the holiday spirit, and I hope that it lifts you up for the holiday season and beyond!
