    I know my then-8yo daughter will want to sleep on the top bunk in our room. Do I need to request a bed rail for the top bunk or is there one already in place?

    Thanks so much for sailing back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your daughter will have so much fun while sailing the high seas with Captain Mickey! My son sleeps so well at night during our Disney Cruise Line cruises! All the activities happening on and around the ship make for one tired buccaneer!

    Your pirate princess will love sleeping on the top bunk! Each evening your Stateroom Host/Hostess will pull down the upper berth pull-down bed from the ceiling and create the bunk bed of your daughter's dreams! There will be both a ladder and a bed rail all set up for her to use. While you're out and about each morning, the Stateroom Host/Hostess will "magically" put the upper berth pull-down bed back up into the ceiling so you have more space to move around your stateroom during the day. When you first step onboard, your Stateroom Host/Hostess will usually come around and meet you. I recommend letting him/her know that your daughter would like to sleep in the top bunk instead of the pull-out sofa so it will be all set up perfectly for her that night!
