Hiya, Pal, and welcome to planDisney! The
Very Merrytime sailings are the Bibbidi Bobbidi Best, so I’m happy to help you plan your
packing list for your upcoming trip.
I used one of my wishes with Genie to discover that you should pull out your Formal wear on Night 2 and Semi-Formal attire on Night 5. I thought you might also like to know that you can expect Mickey & Minnie's Holiday Party on that second night after your first full day at sea. Speaking of deck parties, you’ll want to put on your finest pirate garb on Night 4. As part of
Pirate Night, you can look forward to a Caribbean-themed menu in the rotational dining restaurants, as well as fireworks at sea (weather-permitting). The rest of the evenings are considered 'Cruise Casual', which means you get to show off whatever Disney side you like!
Of course, schedules are always subject to change, which is why I recommend downloading the free
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app before you set sail. Not only will it showcase the cutest Disney emoticon cruise countdown before sailing, but it will be your go-to guide for everything from showtimes to theme nights as soon as you step on the ship. And be sure to pay special attention to the character greeting times to find out when your favorite Disney friends will be appearing in their holiday finery for pictures.
I’m already anticipating all the holiday merriment you’re going to have at sea. Even though your vacation is just around the riverbend, I hope you’ll head back to us here at
planDisney if any more questions bubble up!
Bon voyage,
Sami
