Hey Howdy Hey Melissa and welcome to planDisney!
Thank you so much for stopping by with your question about stroller rentals at the Walt Disney World Resort. Your Magical vacation is right around the corner so let's talk details of stroller rentals to get you ready for your trip!
Melissa, vacations to Walt Disney World are ones built around families with virtually every detail accounted for. This includes
stroller rentals! You can rent a stroller, single or double, for your day in the parks. Simply stop by the location in front of any of the parks to make your purchase. You can rent a stroller for a single day or the duration of your trip.
While this is a great option, there are a couple of things to keep in mind with stroller rentals from Disney. The biggest one is they are not allowed to leave the parks. Every day you need to stop by the front of the park, show your receipt to pick them up and return them at the end of your day. You need to keep your receipt as this will be your ticket to check out strollers if you purchase the option for the length of stay. I would also make sure you do an internet search for pictures of the strollers available to rent in the parks, just so you know what they look like. This will also help determine if you feel your kids will be OK with them.
There are also several companies that will rent strollers to families for the length of stay for your whole vacation experience, not just in the parks. ScooterBug is the Disney Featured Provided that can fulfill this option. Simply visit the site, check out which option of stroller you would like and move forward with the steps online. They will usually deliver your stroller to your resort on the day you arrive so you will have it ready to go when you arrive. The City Mini strollers are the ones most of the companies rent out to families and can be either single or double. They are super mobile and easily collapsable for easy storage in your room if needed. These have been the strollers we have used with our kids as the walk around our Disney resorts was long and we needed a stroller to help out. They worked great and were easily folded up for Resort Transportation.
I hope that with these options you can better plan your days in the parks and resorts with stroller accommodations that fit your needs. If you have any other questions let us know, we are always happy to help!
To Infinity and Beyond,
Nick
